Lawrence County gained two new officials on December 5th when Commissioners elected TERRA DICKEY as the Register of Deeds and PHILLIP HEATHERLY as District 12 Commissioner.
TERRA DICKEY has served citizens in the Register of Deeds office for over 21 years and was Chief Deputy serving under Teresa Dunkin, who passed away in October. She was surrounded by friends and family, including her husband Chris, son Drew and mom Maxine Holloway, as she took the oath of office administered by County Executive T.R. Williams.
PHILLIP HEATHERLY was elected to fill the Commission seat vacated with the resignation of Jim Modlin. He is a lifelong resident of that district and a Lawrenceburg business owner. He is the son of Kathryn and former County Commissioner James Earl Heatherly; he and wife Rebecca have a daughter Lauren and son Blaine.
