Lawrence County gained two new officials on December 5th when Commissioners elected TERRA DICKEY as the Register of Deeds and PHILLIP HEATHERLY as District 12 Commissioner.

TERRA DICKEY has served citizens in the Register of Deeds office for over 21 years and was Chief Deputy serving under Teresa Dunkin, who passed away in October. PHILLIP HEATHERLY was elected to fill the Commission seat vacated with the resignation of Jim Modlin. He is a lifelong resident of that district and a Lawrenceburg business owner. He is the son of Kathryn and former County Commissioner James Earl Heatherly; he and wife Rebecca have a daughter Lauren and son Blaine.
