Help TDOT Strengthen Lawrence County’s Infrastructure

Lawrence County, TN in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Transportation has launched an online survey for the Low Water Crossing Study. This survey is available online now through the end of October by visiting:

Low water crossings can become dangerous and disruptive during floods, cutting off access to important routes. By assessing their condition and resilience, we can identify opportunities to enhance their safety and functionality, reducing flood-related risks for travelers.

The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback from the community on the functionality and resilience of Lawrence County’s low water crossings. Public input will help us identify problem areas and prioritize improvements to make our transportation network safer and more reliable, especially during severe weather events.

The survey will remain open to the public until October 31, 2024.
