Thursday, May 1, 2025, the Lawrence County community gathered at the Courthouse to participate in and celebrate National Day of Prayer.
County Executive David Morgan led the event in prayer alongside Circuit Court Clerk Tommy Lee Kidd, Pastor Jeff Overton, Pastor Tony Morgan, Jonathan Edwards, Pastor T.R. Williams, Pastor Boomer Harris, School Board Member Bill Adams, and E-911 Director Chad Moore.
Together, they focused prayers on several key areas: family, church, education, the next generation, revival, the judicial system, business, first responders, and local, state, and federal government.
This was a special moment, as our community came together in unity—as one county under God.
