The Lawrence County Board of Commissioners met for a Regular Session Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
MEETING HIGHLIGHTS:
Shane Eaton was reelected as Chairman of the County Commission. Dave Ray was reelected as Chairman Pro Tempore of the County Commission. Brandi Williams was reappointed as the Director of Accounts & Budgets.
Charlie Holt was reappointed as the County Attorney. Kelly Odom was reappointed as the County Purchasing Agent. A Resolution approving a $10,000 contribution to Friends of Lawrence County Animals (FOLCA) passed. The Commission recognized Summertown High School student Cavan Love for his Skills USA Tennessee State Championship and national performance.
The proposed Lawrence County High School multi-purpose facility project was not considered at this session. Several other Resolutions were sent back to their respective Committees for further review.
