Steve Hagan is a lifelong resident of Lawrence County. He resides on his family farm located in Leoma and manages a cattle operation that has been established for three generations. He graduated from Lawrence County High School in 2007 and attended Columbia State Community College upon graduation.
He obtained his Associates of Applied Science in Nursing from Columbia State, and began working at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Lawrenceburg Emergency Department. After working in the emergency department for four years, he accepted a position with Air Evac Lifeteam Base 110 in Lawrenceburg as a flight nurse. During this time, he obtained his BSN from MTSU and logged over 600 patient flights, serving Middle Tennessee and Northern Alabama. He attended graduate school at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, graduating with honors while earning his MSN. He currently is employed with First Choice Health as a Nurse Practitioner.
He is the son of former District 4 commissioner Roy Hagan, who tragically passed away after battling cancer during his term. He is married to Alison Hagan, who also works as a Nurse practitioner, and they have a twin boy and girl (Dean and Ellie). Steve is eager to serve the residents of district four along with the entirety of Lawrence County, ensuring that Lawrence County is prepared for future generations.
