Randy Brewer represents Lawrence County’s 9th District which includes the City of Ethridge, a small portion of northeast Lawrenceburg and rural areas of Lawrence County between Weakley Creek Road and Campbellsville Pike.
He is a native of Lawrence County, son of the late Bobby and Okeleen Brewer, and a graduate of LCHS and the University of North Alabama. His wife of 31 years, Nancy, is Executive Assistant in County Executive David Morgan’s office. Their daughter Sedona is employed by the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library and resides in Huntsville.
The Brewers are members of Lawrenceburg’s First United Methodist Church. Randy has been a member of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club since 1987 and has served as Club President and Assistant District Governor.
Randy’s background includes work in the local newspaper business and economic development in Murfreesboro and Lawrence County. While President of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce he also served as President of the statewide Tennessee Industrial Development Council. For the past 14 years, he has worked as a real estate appraiser with Mid-South Appraisal Services.
Randy serves on the Commission’s Budget, Facilities/Property, and Economic Development/Tourism/Nonprofit committees. “I love Lawrence County and am proud to serve the constituents of the Ninth District,” he said. “I believe taxpayer dollars must be spent wisely but investments in education, job creation, and infrastructure are necessary for our county’s growth and prosperity.”
